Actually, hold up, before we go into sleep protection, it's super imporant we share that we don't recommend going to sleep with wet hair. Want to know why? Check out our blog here, post talking all about why it's a bad idea.

Okay, now that we got that out of the way, read on to learn about protecting your hair while you sleep!

SLEEP PROTECTION

1) THE PINEAPPLE

The pineapple is a great hairstyle to rock while you sleep. Pile your hair on top of your head in a loose bun or ponytail. The key word here is loose. If your updo is too tight, it can cause unnecessary strain and headaches. This hairstyle is also fab for creating volume because your roots will be lifted. Try to use a satin or silk scrunchie instead of an elastic that will pull on your strands.

2) USE A SATIN OR SILK SCARF

We love to use our Satin Scarf. Not only will satin reduce frizz inducing friction, but keeping your curls from moving too much overnight will also keep them looking fresh. By wrapping your hair, you preserve the shape and condition overnight.

3) COVER YOUR PILLOWCASE

If you're not into wearing a scarf on your head overnight, you can try covering your pillow! One option is to look for a satin or silk pillowcase.

We like to simply take our satin scarf and lay it over our pillow. Flip the pillow over and tie the ends together. Easy peasy! And this gives you options if some nights you want to sleep with your scarf on your head!
